Honoka Kousaka (VA: Emi Nitta)
A second year high school student in Otonokizaka High School, she is the leader of the school idol group called µ’s and the sub-unit Printemps.
Her birthday is on August 3 and her charm point is her energetic smile! Honoka’s family owns a Japanese sweets shop called Homura with her mom, dad, and her little sister named Yukiho Kousaka, which is the opposite of her attitude.
She is friends with Kotori Minami ever since she was a child and later on befriended Umi Sonoda after inviting her to play hide and seek. They became an inseparable trio after that!
The Love Live Fandom call her sometimes “Honk” because of her name, Honoka. Honk honk!
Honoka’s personality is an optimist, cheerful girl that even rain will stop in the name of her genki-ness! (Genki 元気: energetic, not direct translation though because there’s none). Because of this, it drives everyone else to be determined in order to pursue their dream and save their school.

OPINION AHEAD!
(lazysprinkles): In the anime, she wasn’t helpful when it comes to the practical things an idol needs to have, for example: teaching dance steps, writing songs, and making costumes. That made me kind of dislike her, especially with that rain scene where she shouted something when it’s raining in order for it to stop. Kinda unrealistic, Honoka, but okay, whatever fits in your boat.
